I have just produced the very first Huddersfield Civic Society Design Awards.
I have produced awards in the past for organisations wanting
a bespoke award to present to their winners. It is something that
I occasionally do alongside my sculpture. If you would like to
discuss the possibility of producing unique awards then get in touch!
Whether as a present or to treat yourself there is still time to own a unique piece of Sculpture for Christmas. I have table and wall pieces to choose from. All very versatile and will fit into most settings.
I now have an area on my website for selling limited edition sculptures. All unique and available now just in time for Christmas. Go to ‘purchase‘ to see all the details.
I will be adding to this section over time so please sign up to my newsletter to be kept up to date. I hope you see something you like. If you are local to West Yorkshire (UK) I also have larger pieces available, that are not suitable for sending out via courier, so get in touch via our contact page and have a look through the gallery images to see a variety of sculptures.
I have nearly got a selection of sculptures that are suitable to sell off my website and post to customers. Sign up to my newsletter to be informed as soon as everything is up and running, just in time to buy for Christmas…
A group exhibition with Yorkshire Sculptors Group
running from Saturday 27th October ’12 to Sunday 6th January ’13.
Each artist within the group have explored their own ideas of Lines of Conflict in the environment and throughout the world. The initial inspiration came from objects in the museums store relating to the First World War and the Bombardment of Scarborough.
Private view is this Friday 26th October from 4pm – 6pm.
I am exhibiting with Yorkshire Sculptors Group and Leeds Fine Art Group in a group show at North Light Gallery (Brookes Mill, Armitage Bridge, Huddersfield HD4 7NR)
The exhibition runs from the 8th to 30th September’12
(the gallery is closed Monday & Thursdays).
The private view is on Friday 7th September from 7pm to 9pm so come along to meet the artists or visit during September’12.
Just installed a larger ‘Life Time’ piece in a collectors lovely garden – it looks great!
The Scarborough Art Gallery (YSG Group) show now has a name ‘Lines of Conflict’
(influenced by the bombardment of Scarborough). Back in the studio I have
started work on some new pieces for this show. Dates to follow shortly…
My new website is up and running – I hope to add much more details of work over the next month or so. 2012 has two big group shows planned. The YSG at Scarborough Art Gallery
and Dean Clough Artists at Dean Clough, Halifax. Both are later in the year so I will list
details later.
I am continuing to work on the new acrylic pieces I started in Lindley last year and hope to start a new series of stone pieces when the weather improves.
